What is neuromarketing?

We suggest neuromarketing is the application of findings from brain, biometric and behavioral science research for the purpose of improving marketing and business activities through better understanding of the sub- or unconscious, emotional processes that underpin consumers’ decision making.
What is the difference between neuromarketing and traditional marketing?
Neuromarketing peers into the subconscious mind, providing insights into a person’s emotion, memory, attention, motivation and engagement related to a sensory input which help us understand the actual decision making processes occurring in the brain.
Traditional market research can’t do that.
Please note we don’t think or recommend neuromarketing should replace traditional research… but it should be part of your toolbox if you truly want to understand your consumers.

Isn't neuromarketing a pseudoscience?
No. It’s a very real science. It should perhaps be renamed as the science of influence. Neuromarketing looks at things from the marketers point of view. Consumer neuroscience looks to understand the mind of the consumer per se. Certainly there are pros and cons to using neuromarketing and the ethics must be considered carefully but there is a growing body of evidence (see our insights) that marketers like you can use to inform, improve and inspire your marketing based on neuromarketing research and insights.

To be honest most of the insights are relevant to large cross section of industry sectors. Something that was discovered for one type of company quite has relevance to another – especially when we look at cognitive biases for example.
Do we have any specific aviation industry tips? I’m sorry to say we don’t.

The database is definitely better on a desktop or laptop but is usable on some smaller screens.
